I sought a painting method for this series that practiced peace, centering, and a framework for listening. Each painting is a unique expression of the same underlying pattern of three vertical lines and three horizontal lines with nine overlapping circles. I was surprised how the shapes seemed to call to me; the painting process felt like a dialogue to me. Each painting goes toward and emanates from a central Light.  In order to be congruent with these themes, I painted them on 24” x 24” wooden panels, using oil paint I hand mixed with nontoxic pigments and all natural linseed oil. ​
